Racing Rivals

In 2003 Vertical Productions conceptualised Racing Rivals – a TV series that followed the SEAT Cupra Championship. At the time it was the largest ad-funded project on television, and was aired on ITV1 in 2003 and 2004.

At the start of 2007 we pitched to Vauxhall and SEAT the Racing Rivals style format whereby we would follow their team in the British Touring Car Championship teams. This culminated in the production of a 6×30-minute series for Channel 4.

The series is repeated on Bravo TV, and a one-hour highlights special was distributed globally on various airline in-flight TV channels.
